Account admin - Install

Install order of the three parts:
  1. Account server - its last page showed the address, the connection key and its database
  2. This account admin - on its own domain you are here
  3. The shop - make its OAuth client here first; its installer asks for the client ID and secret

Server check

PHP, its extensions and the write permissions of the folders. Fix the points in red with your hosting provider, then check again.

  • PHP 8.1.0 or newer (this server: 8.2.34)

    Enable the pdo_mysql extension in the PHP settings.

    Enable the mbstring extension in the PHP settings.

  • The .env file can be written
  • PHP memory limit 256M or more (now 128M) advice
    Raise memory_limit in the PHP settings.
  • PHP time limit 120 seconds or more (now 30 s) advice
    Raise max_execution_time.
  • Outgoing HTTPS connections (licence server, the other parts) advice

Database

A MySQL / MariaDB database for the account admin itself (its admins and their sessions).

This server looks like cPanel hosting.
Your domain, or the server name of your host. Port 2083 is used.
Used once to create the database; it is not saved. An API token: cPanel > Security > Manage API Tokens.

Account server

The account server's last page showed its address, the connection key and its database. This app manages the account server's users and settings directly in that database. Everything is checked.

The account server only answers this app's address: https://accountadmin.relech.com (it was given to the account server's installer).

Super admin

The super admin of this app (only the super admin manages the other admins).

At least 10 characters, letters and digits.
The same as on the account server.

Install

Everything is ready. The installer writes the settings file, creates the tables and makes the super admin account. Keep this page open.

Sign in with the super admin account you just made. The installer is switched off now.

  1. Settings: site name, logos, e-mail (SMTP) and SMS for the account server.
  2. Products: add the shop as a first-party client with the callback address <shop address>/user/callback, then install the shop (step 3) with its client ID and secret.
